After School Update:
The Science and Engineers Club will be teaming up with the Adventure Club for the ERAMS Inventor’s competition. This year, we're asking our student innovators to put their minds and mechanical abilities to outdoor recreation! We’ll be working together in teams to come up with some exciting designs for the best portable toilet. We’ll be building these from scratch, and awarding medals at the end for Best Looking, Best Features, and Most Comfortable. Ms. Peterson has agreed to supervise, and she asks parents to think of household items they have around. It’s spring cleaning time, so put your unwanted stuff in a bin! We’ll use the found objects to brainstorm and inspire ourselves! We want to encourage everyone to think big and come up with something way out there! Who knows? Maybe your student's portable toilet will be the next mountaineering craze!
Cafeteria News: The PTO has been working with local Farm to School organizations to come up with a proposal for a new food education curriculum. PTO Chair Marsha Greenwald will be sharing their ideas at the Board meeting next month. As always we encourage any interested parents to attend!
